Ever since I was in college, I have had a passion for communications, community, and impact. Writing and advocacy have been core passions as well. This has led me to a wide-range of work and life experiences, that bring me to today.

Individuals and organizations who are passionate about helping others, sometimes need an extra hand. Over the past 20 years, I have developed specific expertise and skills that have helped organizations raise millions, and impact thousands.

With ten years of experience in higher education, I know how to help find, secure, and manage grants of all kinds. Large, complex, federal grants. Small and medium size foundations grants.

I’ve also helped give our grants, and had a front-row seat to the inner workings of a $5 Billion dollar family foundation!

I first started blogging in 2003. Now, I’m back at it again. Older. Wiser. More focused on creating community and content that makes people smile, and perhaps, makes the world a bit of a better place.
